Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: MEET the actor who will play Erica aka Prerna's dad in the show

Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has become the talk of the town ever since the first promo of the show was released. While Erica Fernandes has been locked as the new Prerna for the show, the makers of the show are yet to confirm the name of the actor playing Anurag Basu. We had informed you that Barun Sobti might play the character of Mr Bajaj (originally played by Ronit Roy). The Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon fame actor was earlier rumoured to be playing the lead role in KZK 2. The cast of Kasautii 2 is getting bigger and better with each passing day. We had earlier told you that Pooja Banerjee will play the sibling of the lead of the show. As per the latest buzz, the makers have roped in a veteran actor for playing the role of Prerna’s dad in Kasautii’s reboot version. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Kali Prasad Mukherjee, who has worked in several TV shows, will make his comeback to the small screen with Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actor will play Prerna aka Erica’s dad in the show. “Kali Prasad has been roped in for the reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He will play the character of Prerna’s father,” a source rold IWMBuzz. Kali has been part of several shows produced under Ekta’s Balaji Productions- Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai, Tere Liye and Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, to name a few. The original actors of the show- Shweta Tiwari, Urvashi Dholakia and Ronit Roy have already given the KZK’s first teaser a thumbs up. Hina Khan, who won millions of hearts with her fine portrayal of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in all probability, will play the role of Komolika.
