Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Kushal Tandon RESPONDS to rumours of him playing Anurag Basu
New Delhi: It won’t be wrong to say that Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has become the talk of the town even before the show goes on floors. Ever since Ekta Kapoor announced that she will launch a reboot version of Kasautii, speculations regarding the star cast have been rife. We have already informed you that Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi fame actress Erica Fernandes is playing the role of Prerna (played by Shweta Tiwari) and she has already started shooting for the show. Interestingly, TV’s popular bahu Hina Khan might play the role of Komolikaa in KZK 2.
As per the latest buzz, Beyadh actor Kushal Tandon, who is part of Ekta Kapoor’s web series Hum, has been roped to play the character of Anurag Basu, originally played by Cezanne Khan.
“Hina has mostly been finalised. The financial contract and the final creatives are being locked with her. As for Kushal, the channel has liked his look test and things will be taken ahead with him. Ekta is personally keeping a tab on all the developments, as the show is very important to her. She will announce the final cast mostly by end of the month,’’ a source told Indian Express.
Kushal, who shot to fame with Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’, took to Twitter to squash all the speculations.
