After 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', Ekta Kapoor To Reboot Aamna-Rajeev's 'Kahiin Toh Hoga'; Hebah Patel Finalised As Leading Lady?

Tentatively titled 'Kahiin Toh Hoga United', Ekta Kapoor's set to bring back 'Kahiin Toh Hoga' after the success of Parth Samthaan-Erica Fernandes' 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'.

TV czarina Ekta Kapoor's 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot, featuring Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Karan Singh Grover in leads, is one of the most loved and successful shows on small-screen. After the huge success of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', Ekta Kapoor is now all set to bring the reboot of another popular Star Plus show soon. The latest buzz suggests that Ekta Kapoor is now working on the reboot of Aamna Sharif and Rajeev Khandelwal starrer much-loved Star Plus show 'Kahiin Toh Hoga'. Yes, you read that right! Tentatively titled 'Kahiin Toh Hoga United', the web-series will have the basic feel of Rajeev Khandelwal & Aamna Sharif starrer Star Plus show intact. However, it is not yet confirmed if the show is a direct reboot of 'Khahiin Toh Hoga' however the title of upcoming web-series hints the same. 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' Leads & Alleged Lovebirds Parth Samthaan-Erica Fernandes Break Up? Speaking about the series, a source told an entertainment portal that, "Just like the original TV series, which revolved around two primary characters (Kashish and Sujal) and their ego tussle amidst their love story, the plot of the digital series will be quite similar to the original one. However, the characters will be different." The upcoming web-series will revolve around two Muslim families who are business partners. 'Sufiyaan' & 'Imtiyaaz', who are the successors of the families, will be shown as great friends. However, the lives will change post the entry of a girl named 'Kaaynaat'. Talking about the story, the source said, "The plot primarily revolves around the love triangle between Imtiyaaz, Sufiyaan and Kaynaat." The makers have already found the leading lady of 'Kahiin Toh Hoga United'. Popular Tollywood actress Hebah Patel, who has worked in various Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, has reportedly been finalised to play the lead role of 'Kaynaat'. The web-series will mark the Hindi debut if Hebah Patel who was last seen in 2018 Telugu film titled '24 Kisses'. Whereas, the makers are still looking out for actors to play other important characters. The series will be of 4- episodes and 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot director Muzammil Desai will reportedly direct it. However, Ekta Kapoor, Heba Patel and Muzammil Desai are yet to react on the same. But, the news of 'Kahiin Toh Hoga' reboot will surely make fans excited. On a related note, original 'Kahiin Toh Hoga' began in the year 2003 and ran for around three and a half years and came to an end in 2007. The show was one of Ekta Kapoor's most loved shows and the iconic pair of 'Kashish' (Aamna Sharif) & Sujal (Rajeev Khandelwal) became an instant hit among viewers. Fans are surely going to miss seeing 'Kashish' & 'Sujal' in the reboot. Apart from Rajeev-Aamna, popular actors like Shabir Ahluwalia, Surveen Chawla, Eijaz Khan, Manish Raisinghani, Rohit Bakshi, Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar among others too were a part of the show.
