KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM TV Remake: Meet the Yashvardhan aka Amitabh Bachchan of the show

New Delhi: Bollywood’s iconic film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ is getting a TV remake by Ekta Kapoor. Although, TV czarina didn’t made any announcements regarding this but her tweets definitely raised the excitement among the fans. Until now, speculations are that ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ actress Erica Fernandez has been roped to play the role of either Kareena or Kajol. The other names that are being speculated are, Akshay Dogra, Arslan Goni, Bani J, Sana Saeed and Farida Dadi. Now there is buzz on the role of Amitabh Bachchan, i.e, Yashvardhan Raichand. As per news in Mumbai Mirror, “Bijay Anand, who played Kajol’s wayward fiancé in the 1998 romcom 'Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha', has been cast to play Amitabh Bachchan’s patriarch, Yashvardhan Raichand, while Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actress Erica Fernandes is in talks to play either Kajol’s talkative Anjali or her younger sister, Pooja (popularised by Kareena as ‘Poo’).
