Mumbai: Popular TV actress Charu Asopa, fondly known for her role in ‘Mere Angne Mein’, is busy celebrating the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi will full fervour and enthusiasm. Charu and her husband Rajeev Sen are expecting their first child together after years of marriage.

The ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actress took to social media to share a glimpse of her celebrations. She posted two photos wherein she can be seen posing in front of her Ganpati idol. Rajeev, who is the brother of Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen, also featured in one of the pictures.  

“Ganpati Bappa Morya Mangal Murthy Morya. Hie my Instagram family wish you a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi,” Asopa wrote. She extended her warm wishes to her followers while sharing the post on her official Instagram handle. 

The soon-to-be mommy looked radiant in a yellow saree, which she paired with gold jewelry. She flaunted her million-dollar smile while striking a pose for the camera. The pregnancy glow on her face is easily visible in the photo. Fans have flooded the comments section with their wishes.

Rajeev also posted a photo on social media wherein Charu can be seen flaunting her baby bump. He wrote, "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Bappa comes home."

How Charu Asopa Announced Her Pregnancy?

The 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' star posted a series of photos, flaunting her baby bump, to announce the arrival of her first child. She wrote, "Grateful, blessed, thankful" in her caption. Several TV celebs dropped comments on the post and wished the soon-to-be parents. 

Charu Asopa's Baby Shower Photos

Last month, Sushmita Sen and her family members hosted a baby shower ceremony for Charu. Sen's children, Renee and Alisah, also attended the fun-filled ceremony.

Asopa shared photos from the function along with the caption, "Some baby shower rituals pictures."

Charu and Rajeev tied the knot in June 2019 in a grand ceremony in Goa. They got married according to Bengali and Rajasthani rituals in the presence of their loved ones.
