EXCLUSIVE! Hiten Tejwani denies being approached to play Mr. Bajaj in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'!

Ekta Kapoor's 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot, featuring Erica Fernandes & Parth Samthaan in lead roles, is only a few weeks away from its premiere on 25th September. Yesterday (2nd September), Ekta Kapoor finally shared the show's new promo in which Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan introduced Parth & Erica as Anurag-Prerna. Whereas, Hina Khan is said to be playing the role of iconic vamp Komolika in the much-awaited show but the official announcement is still awaited. 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' has already created a lot of buzz and the latest reports suggest that Hiten Tejwani, who replaced Cezanne Khan as Anurag in the original show, has been approached to play Mr. Bajaj in the reboot. But when it didn’t happen, the makers approached Hiten for the role. Speaking about the same, he told us, "No, not yet. They (the makers) have not contacted me." Earlier, there were also reports of Barun Sobti playing the role of Mr Bajaj in the show which was originally essayed by Rohit Roy. Speaking about Hiten Tejwani, he made his TV debut with Ekta Kapoor's 'Ghar Ek Mandir' and became a household name after playing the lead role of 'Pratham' in 'Kutumb' opposite wife Gauri Pradhan. After which, he went on to feature in many popular shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kavyanjali', 'Pavitra Rishta' among others. He was last seen on TV as a contestant in the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 11' last year in which he was loved for his calm nature.
