EX Bigg Boss Winner Dipika Kakar's Father-In-Law Undergoes Surgery, Hubby Shoaib Ibrahim Thanks Fans For Their 'Love & Prayers'

Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar’s father-in-law underwent a surgery on February 13 in Mumbai. Kakar’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim took to social media to provide an update about his father’s health. The ‘Koi Aane Ko Hai’ actor infirmed the fans that his father underwent a successful surgery on Saturday and is currently under observation.

Shoaib also said that his dad would be able to walk in two days. He didn’t mention further details about the surgery but thanked the fans for sending their warm wishes and love. Ibrahim expressed his gratitude towards his followers for praying for his father in his Twitter post. Check it out!

Dipika and Shoaib became household names after playing the respective roles of Simar and Prem in Colors TV’s ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. They fell in love on the sets of the popular daily soap. After dating each other for several years, they decided to take their relationship to the next level by getting hitched in February 2018.

Shoaika, as fondly called by fans, will celebrate their third wedding anniversary on February 22, 2021. Shoaib had proposed Dipika on the sets of ‘Nach Baliye 8’, which aired on Star Plus.

Dipika and Shoaib were recently seen together in the music video ‘Yaar Dua’. The song, which premiered on February 5, has received over 7 million views on YouTube. Fans have appreciated Dipika and Shoaib’s sizzling chemistry in ‘Yaar Dua’. The two lovebirds have shared several behind-the-scene pictures on their respective Instagram handles.

Dipika, who is one of the most popular TV actresses, has been missing from the small screen since her show ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ went off air. She was seen opposite Karan V Grover in the show, which beamed on Star Plus.

Dipika lifted the winner’s trophy of Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 12’. She defeated Sreesanth, Karanvir Bohra, Deepak Thakur and Romil Chaudhary to win the reality show.
