New Delhi: Actress-dancer Sambhavna Seth, who shot to fame after participating in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss’, lost her father on Saturday (May 8). Her father had tested positive for COVID-19. He passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. 


Sambhavan’s husband Avinash shared the heartbreaking news with her fans by sharing a post on her social media handles. He urged the fans to keep her dad in their prayers.

"Today at 5:37pm Sambhavna lost her father due to COVID-19 followed by cardiac arrest. Please keep him in your prayers," Avinash said in a post.  



Many Bhojpuri industry celebs mourned Sambhavna's father's demise and offered their condolence. 




Sambhavna and Avinash rushed to Delhi after they got to know about her father’s health. Avinash informed the fans through his YouTube vlog that her father was shifted to the ICU after his health deteriorated 


Sambhavna's family members had recently tested positive for COVID-19. She faced problems while arranging a hospital bed for her father in Delhi. The popular dancer sought help from her social media followers to arrange a bed for her father. Last week, she had shared a post on Instagram to ask her fans to help her.  


“Can anybody help to get a bed in Jaipur Golden Hospital, Pitampura, Delhi as its closest to my house. My father is Covid positive and he needs a bed urgently. He is waiting outside the hospital with my brother,” Seth’s post read. 



The Bhojpuri actress, who is also a popular YouTuber, has been actively using social media platforms to provide assistance to the needy amid the crisis. She has been sharing verified COVID-19 resources to help the people suffering from the virus.

On the professional front, Sambhavna was last seen in a cameo in 'Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari'. She has worked in reality shows like 'Bigg Boss 2', 'Bigg Boss 8', 'Desi Girl' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'.
