New Delhi: Fans and internet users alike are becoming restless as the launch of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ approaches. ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ winner Elvish Yadav's rumoured ex-girlfriend Kirti Mehra has been mentioned as a potential new contestant. In a daily video she uploaded to YouTube, she dropped hints about entering the upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Kirti revealed the information indirectly. In a joint announcement with her friend, she broke the news that she had gained "entry" to somewhere.


Kirti Mehra verified that the major news is now only known by a select few, but that everyone else will find out on the specified day. On October 15th, she will share a "good news." Her friend was overheard stating, "Yeh wahan kaise jaa sakti hai but chali gayi," which is a strong signal that she would be entering the Bigg Boss house this year.






The wide range of fan perspectives is reflected in their responses. In response to the possibility of Kirti being on the reality show, some viewers voiced their enthusiasm and support, while others questioned why she is even needed in the show.


There have been rumours and counter-rumours about Elvish Yadav and Kirti Mehra all over social media about their past connection. In a recent interview, Kirti said that she has been continuously trolled on account of what Elvish said when he was a contestant on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’. Elvish's victory in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ as a wildcard candidate was the first in the show's history.


The makers of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ has reportedly contacted the following couples: Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Youtuber Armaan Malik and his fiance, and Aishwarya Sharma and her husband. Others who have been approached are Neil Bhatt, Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani.


'Bigg Boss 17' is set to premiere on Sunday, October 15, at 9 p.m.
