New Delhi: The upcoming season of 'Bigg Boss' is creating a lot of buzz. Salman Khan is back to host the 17th season of the reality show. Many names have been bandied about as possible participants this year, but nothing has been officially announced. 'Bigg Boss' has included a number of actresses in the past, including Monica Bedi, Pooja Bhatt, Tanisha Mukherjee, Shamita Shetty, Rimi Sen and Minisha Lamba. Now, it is being reported that 'Bigg Boss 17' producers have contacted Mamta Kulkarni for the show.
Mamta Kulkarni, a popular actress of the '90s, has been added to the list of potential contestants of 'Bigg Boss 17'. India Today reports that the makers of the show have contacted Mamta Kulkarni to join the show. However, the rumours are not confirmed yet. The actual identities of the contestants, however, will not be revealed until the premiere.
Talking about Mamta Kulkarni, the actress has always been linked to drama, whether it is due to her provocative magazine covers or her personal life. Mamta quit Bollywood in 2003 to focus on her yoga practice. Mamta has also written a memoir about her time as a yogini.
Mamta is now the defendant in many lawsuits. She may return for ‘Bigg Boss Season 17’ if those problems are resolved.
Mamta Kulkarni delivered her career's greatest success 'Karan Arjun' with Salman Khan. If she does end up appearing on ‘Bigg Boss Season 17’, it will be a reunion for her and Salman Khan.
She has shared the screen with Govinda, Mithun Chakraborty, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Mamta has also co-starred with Saif Ali Khan in ‘Aahsiq Awara’. Her last film was the 2001 box office smash 'Chupa Rustam'.
‘Bigg Boss 17’ will premiere on Sunday, October 15 at 9 p.m., as teased in the most recent promo. A glitzy premiere event will be held to introduce the participants. The programme will air on weeknights at 10 PM and on weekends at 9 PM.
