Ankit, while talking to a leading daily, said that they couldn’t postpone the wedding as the next available date was in November or December. They had plans to invite 500 guests for their grand wedding; however, the couple has now decided to invite only selected people. The two lovebirds will take nuptial vows in an Arya Samaj mandir. “The wedding was supposed to be a grand event for both the families. We could have postponed it, but the next date available was in November or December. Given the unpredictability of the times we live in, we decided to get married on June 30. We had originally planned to invite 500 guests. However, we have now reduced it to 50 people, following the new guidelines. We will perform two rituals at my home, for which I am still in talks with my housing society members. It will be followed by saat phere at the Arya Samaj mandir. We will make sure that every guest goes for a medical check-up a day before the wedding,” Ankit told Times Of India.
The talented actor also said that all precautionary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of the guests. Children below the age of 10 and people above 55 years won’t be allowed to attend the wedding. Ankit Shah also told the daily that he and his to-be wife will wear masks that colour coordinate with their wedding outfits.
