'Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali': Meherzan JOINS the cast of Shaheer Sheikh- Sonarika Bhadoria's new show on Colors TV

Shaheer Sheikh is all set to return to the small screens with ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali’ on Colors TV. The ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ actor will be paired opposite Sonarika Bhadoria in the show which is being produced by Writers' Galaxy. The first promo of the historical show managed to create buzz among the viewers, who are eagerly waiting for it to go on-air. As per the latest buzz, the makers have roped in Meherzan Mazda to play a pivotal role in the upcoming show. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Meherzan will play an important cameo in the show. The makers are giving their best shot to recreate the eternal love story of Salim and Anarkali. "Yes, I am doing the show. I will play a very important cameo. I am excited to be part of the show as this will be my first historical stint on TV," Meherzan told Tellychakkar. The actor shot to fame with ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’ and later went on to do ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem’. Mazda was last seen playing the role of Smaran Hehbar in ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’. Other than Shaheer and Sonarika, the show will also star Shahbaz Khan, Aruna Irani, Piyush Sahdev and Gurdeep Punj in key roles. ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali’ will replace Udaan at the 8:30pm slot from October 2 on Colors TV.
