Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali: Shaheer Sheikh-Sonarika Bhadoria's show to go off air; last date revealed?

New Delhi: 2018 saw the launch of several shows on the small screen. Shows like ‘Kulfi Kumar Bajewala’, ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ topped the TRP charts while shows like ‘Bepannaah’ and ‘Belan Wali Bahu’ failed to win the hearts of the audience. Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria starrer ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali’ was launched with great expectations on October 2 but the show couldn’t strike a chord with the viewers. As per the latest buzz DEMSA will soon face the axe on Colors TV. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that the show will bid adieu to the fans soon and air its last episode on December 4. ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali’ will be shifted to 11:30pm slot from December 31 and will go off air on Janaury 4, as per a report in Bollywoodlife. The report also suggested that the channel interfered with the production house because of the falling ratings The historical drama faced intense competition from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ and ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ at 8:30pm slot. The show will be replaced by the upcoming show ‘Kesari Nandan’ from January 1. For the uninitiated, Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda’s ‘Bepannaah’ also went off air recently.
