Remember the cute Gangubai on Comedy Circus? The 7-year-old Gangubai or better to say Saloni Daini has all grown up now and looks amazing. Saloni Daini, the chirpy little girl, who made us fall in love with her during her stint as Gangubai on the hit comedy reality show 'Comedy Circus Mahasangram' is all grown up now. In a recent interview with ET Times, the pretty 19-year-old teenager made some revelations about how she was trolled and what fame did to her personal life. The child actor, who is now a fine teenager reminisced the fandom she achieved at the age of 7, meeting B-Town celebrities and the friendships and love which she got on set. In a question about online trolls and how she dealt with it, Saloni aka Gangubai said that her journey on TV was the best journey she ever had, but growing up she faced a lot of criticism and trolling for being overweight. Saloni said that she used would get comments like ‘Bhains lag rahi hai’, ‘kitni moti hai’, ‘kitna khayegi, ekdin foot jayegi’ and things like that. But mujhe bahut maza aate hai yeh sab padh k (I enjoy a lot reading them). I read them with my friends and keep laughing. People who write such comments, they are afraid enough to not show their faces but they can write such things for so many people. Sometimes I do feel low, but I move on quickly. I work towards better things in life and not think about such people. Now I have lost 22kgs, during the lockdown. Sharing her weightloss story, Saloni Daini aka Gangubai said that when lockdown had started,  she would eat a lot at home. Her mother would cook momos, butter chicken, cakes, and things like that. One day she was sitting in front of her laptop, watching shows. And suddenly, the screen locked and she saw her face on the laptop. She looked very chubby. She was 80kgs or something at that time. At that point, she decided that she has to lose weight. She said that her goal was to be fit and healthy. She followed a diet and worked out every day. Saloni now weighs 58. Saloni said, "Lockdown has made me lose weight. I would like to thank lockdown because I couldn’t go out and eat junk food." She also said that she did not face much criticism for her wait while working in Showbiz but people called her 'Choti Bharti', referring to the comedian Bharti. People on sets also thought she is Bharti's daughter and often asked her like where is your mother Bharti and she had to correct them.
