'Choti Sarrdaarni' Actor Nilu Kohli's Husband Harminder Singh Passes Away After Slipping In The Bathroom

The last rites of Harminder Singh Kohli will be performed on March 27.

New Delhi: TV actor Nilu Kohli's husband Harminder Singh Kohli died after slipping inside the bathroom on Friday. Harminder Singh Kohli was found dead inside the bathroom by a helper. The actor's daughter Sahiba confirmed the news. She told ETimes TV, "Yes, it is true. It happened this afternoon. It was a sudden death. The last rites will happen two days from now as my brother is in the Merchant Navy and we are waiting for him. My mom is not in a good condition. She was out for some work when the incident happened."

As per reports, the Choti Sarrdaarni's actor's husband Harminder Singh Kohli is said to have been up and about till the afternoon of March 24. However, after returning from Gurudwara, he is said to have gone to the bathroom and when he did not return, his helper checked in and found him lying unconscious on the floor. Reports also stated that it was too late by then to take Mr Kohli to the hospital.

The last rites of Harminder Singh Kohli will be performed on March 27. Nilu and Harminder Singh Kohli were married in 1986. The two also have a son and a daughter.

Nilu Kohli has been seen in several TV shows like 'Sangam', 'Mere Angne Mein', 'Choti Sardarni', and 'Maddam Sir'. She has also acted in films like 'Housefull 2', 'Hindi Medium', 'Patiala House' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.

Nilu Kohli made her debut in 1999 with the film 'Dil Kya Kare'. She has also been a part of many Bollywood projects; most recently, she was seen in the period drama 'Jogi'. 

On the TV front, she was seen in the TV show, 'Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Nazar'.Off late, a promo of one of her new projects with Sunil Grover was launched where she plays a central part.
