Bigg Boss 15: Rekha Lends Her Voice For First Promo, Salman Khan's Show To Have Jungle Theme In New Season

Bigg Boss 15: The makers of Salman Khan's popular reality show have unveiled the first promo of the new season.

Mumbai: The biggest reality on Indian television will soon hit the airwaves. There's no prize for guessing that we are talking about ‘Bigg Boss’. The makers of the popular show have released the first promo of ‘Bigg Boss 15’. Gossip mills were buzzing with the rumours that veteran actress Rekha would feature in the promo of the show. The ‘Silsila’ actress lent her voice for the promo of Salman Khan’s hit show, which will return with a new season. 

Interestingly, the creative team has opted to shoot the promo against the backdrop of a jungle, making us wonder if the show will have a jungle-based theme.  Rekha can be heard singing her evergreen song ‘Yeh Kya Jagah Hai Doston’ from ‘Umrao Jaan’. Salman donned the outfit of a forest officer for the promo shoot. 

The official Instagram handle of Colors TV shared the promo along with the caption, “Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai? Bigg Boss 15 coming soon.” The video went viral on social media within few minutes.

Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. One user wrote, "Wow, I am so excited" while another commented, "Can't wait for the new season."

The channel and Endemol India have experimented with a new concept ahead of the premiere of 'Bigg Boss'. Earlier this month, the makers launched 'Bigg Boss OTT', which exclusively airs on VOOT Select. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is hosting the digital version of the reality show.

Neha Bhasin, Shamita Shetty, Raqesh Bapat, Pratik Sehajpal, Karan Nath, Akshara Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Milind Gaba, Divya Agarwal, Moose Jattana, Nishant Bhatt and Zeeshan Khan are part of 'Bigg Boss OTT'. The show, which will run for six weeks, will have its own grand finale.

Speculations are rife that the likes of Arjun Bijlani, Neha Marda will feature in 'Bigg Boss 15'. The makers have managed to keep the details about the contestants under wraps. Some of the contestants from 'Bigg Boss OTT' are expected to participate in 'BB 15'.

'Bigg Boss 15' will replace 'Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11' on weekdays and weekends respectively.
