New Delhi: With its drama-packed episodes, one of the most popular reality shows ‘Bigg Boss 14’ has managed to keep viewers hooked to their television sets. On October 12, the Salman Khan’s show witnessed the first elimination round where Punjabi singer Sara Gurpal became the very first contestant to get evicted.

Recently, a big fight broke out between Shehzad Deol and Nishant Singh Malkhani during an immunity task where both the contestants involved themselves in a nasty fight starting from yelling and pushing to attacking each other with abuses. However, another contestant Rubina Dilaik could not stand the use of the words ‘hijra’ and ‘chakka’ by Shehzad and Nishant as she demanded an apology from both the contestants. Shehzad Deol apologised and accepted that he had made a mistake and Jasmin Bhasin also asked him to ask for forgiveness on camera.

Twitter hailed the stand taken by the ‘Chotti Bahu’ actress for the LGBTQ community.

Another user wrote, “Since I belong to LGBT community. I want to thanks #RubinaDiliak for taking brawny stand for our community. I know pain of being called Hinjra Chakka as abuse. Rubina Dilaik earlier portrayed the role of a eunuch in the TV serial ‘Shakti - Ek Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’. The show also starred Vivian Dsena, Jigyasa Singh and Simba Nagpal in the pivotal roles.
