Pearl, who was shooting for 'Brahmarakhas' season two in Mumbai, immediately rushed to his hometown in Agra to perform his father's last rites.
"Pearl's father was hale and hearty. However, three days ago, he developed pneumonia as well as suffered a silent heart attack, and succumbed to it. The Puri family is in a state of shock as everything has been sudden. Pearl, who was shooting for his show, 'Brahmarakshas 2', had to rush back to his hometown overnight. He performed the chautha for his father yesterday," a source Times Of India.
Pearl, who spent quality time with his parents during the COVID-19 lockdown, celebrated his parents' anniversary on August 8. He shared pictures from the celebrations along with the caption, "Happiessssttttt anniversary to the most beautiful couple of the world. I love you maa I love you paaa May god bless you with everything you want and alottts of happiness and 100 lifetimes of togetherness love love love."
Pearl's grandmother left for her heavenly abode last month. The 'Bepanah Pyaarr' actor had shared a heartfelt post for his 'Nani' on social media.
"Na aapke jaisa koi tha na kabhi hoga NaniMa humesha aapse bolta tha aap apna khayal rakhna ..! aaj bolunga ab se aap hum sab ka khayal rakhna will miss you always aapke haath ke triangle wale paranthe bhej dena thore thore din me aur chiwda bhi !! Worlds best Nani Ma!!," his post read.
On the professional front, Pearl will be soon seen in Ekta Kapoor's ‘Brahmarakhas 2’. The supernatural show will also star Nikki Sharma, Chetan Hansraj and Nikhil Arya. The second season of 'Brahmarakhas' will go on air on Zee TV.

Another report in an entertainment portal said that the shooting of 'Brahmarakhas 2' was stalled after the untimely death of Pearl's father. The makers of the show are cooperating with the 'Meri Sasu Maa' actor.
"The incident happened yesterday (13th October 2020) and Pearl left for Agra. The production house is cooperating with him and the shoot of his upcoming show Brahmrakshas 2 has been stalled," a source told Tellychakkar.
