New Delhi: Popular TV actor Ruslaan Mumtaz and his wife Nirali Mehta welcomed their first child together on March 26. The couple is on cloud nine after the birth of their baby boy. The actor, who is fondly known for playing the role of Krish opposite Mahhi Vij in Colors TV’s ‘Balika Vadhu’, announced the arrival of his son by posting a heartfelt note on social media.


Ruslaan took to Instagram to share an adorable photo with his newborn baby boy. The little one can be seen sleeping in his daddy’s arms while the actor seems busy with his phone. The talented actor captioned the post as, “Chota baby: let me sleep. Rus: Sleep, sleep, I'm not disturbing you. Chota baby: (emoji) #chotababy #stuckathome #lockdown #baby.”

Several TV celebs including Harsh Rajput and Nakuul Mehta commented on the picture. Harsh, last seen in ‘Nazar’, wrote, “Sooo cutee.”

Ruslaan had shared another adorable photo of his newborn child while announcing his name. The actor and his wife have named their cutie pie Rayaan Mumtaz.

"Chota baby smiling at my failed attempt at making him burp. Ps. Chota babys name is Rayaan Mumtaz but I'll call him Chota baby till I can. #chotababy #superhero #cutestbabyever #protectyourpeace," the caption for the post read.



Ruslaan and Nirali Mehta tied the knot in 2014 in the presence of their loved ones. Ruslaan is the son of veteran actress Anjana Mumtaz.



On the professional front, Ruslaan Mumtaaz was last seen in ‘Main Maayke Chali Jaungi’. He made his small screen debut opposite Sangita Ghosh in ‘Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara’. The actor made his Bollywood debut with ‘MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar’ in 2017. He played the lead role in the season two of 'Balika Vadhu'.
