New Delhi: It’s time to send congratulatory messages to TV actor Ruslaan Mumtaz and his wife Nirali Mehta as they have become parents of a baby boy. Ruslaan, who played the role of Krish opposite Mahhi Vij in Colors TV’s ‘Balika Vadhu’, shared the good news on social media. The talented actor penned a heartfelt post while announcing the arrival of his son. The ‘Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara’ actor also posted the first pictures of his newborn child on Instagram.


Ruslaan said that he had decided to not share any photo of his son for atleast 3 to 4 months but he posted the picture because he thought that ‘news of a chota baby’ will make people happy amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

“26-03-2020 : CHOTA BABY HAS ARRIVED ???? I was going to avoid uploading any of my baby's pictures for atleast 3,4 months but given the current gloom and doom in the world right now I think news of a chota baby will only brighten your day. I genuinely do believe that babies born in times when the world is going through a rough patch come here for a reason. So I'm hoping my chota baby is a super hero born in difficult times and in time will make this world even more beautiful than he already is. I hope and pray the world becomes a better place for us, our parents and our children,” Ruslaan wrote in his post.

Several TV actors including Harsh Rajput, Debina Bonnerjee and Ankita Sharma dropped comments on the post. Harsh Rajput, last seen in 'Nazar', wrote, "Ale ale......cutie.wish you guys amazing and beautiful journey of parenthood.lots of love."

Ruslaan, son of veteran actress Anjana Mumtaz, got hitched to Nirali Mehta in 2014. The couple is quite excited to welcome a little bundle of joy into their lives.



On the professional, Ruslaan Mumtaaz  was last seen in Sony TV's ‘Main Maayke Chali Jaungi’. He made his TV debut opposite Sangita Ghosh in ‘Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara’. The actor made his Bollywood debut in 2007 with ‘MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar’. He played the lead role in 'Balika Vadhu' season two.
