Amid Legal Battle With Wife Nisha, Karan Mehra Says ‘Has Been An Emotional, Disturbing And Painful Time’

A few days back Karan Mehra posted a throwback video on his Instagram featuring himself and his son Kavish Mehra.

New Delhi: Television actor Karan Mehra has been making the headlines for the ongoing legal fight with his wife Nisha Rawal. Earlier this year, Karan’s wife Nisha filed a domestic violence case against which also got him arrested. While Nisha has opened up with the media about her legal battle, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor has also opened up recently about the current situation and how it has been emotionally toiling not only for him but also for his family.

A few days back Karan Mehra posted a throwback video on his Instagram featuring himself and his son. He penned down a note that read, “100 days of emotional hurricanes of missing you my son Hoping to reunite with you, being able to protect you from all evil and being the father that I am destined to be”.

Now, while in a conversation with Hindustan Times, Karan Mehra that it has been ‘an emotional, disturbing and painful time’. He was quoted saying by the publication, “I have not seen Kavish since more than 100 days, not able to enter my home or take my belongings. It has been an emotional, disturbing and painful time for all of us. We are fighting it as a family.”

He further added, “It is not right to put my parents through all this, especially when my dad is a heart patient. It is quite disturbing. The proceedings, the process and the fight are not easy. I am out of my house while she and her brother are in the house, aaram se”.

Karan Mehra also revealed during his conversation with Hindustan Times that he has proof and will share it with the authorities when the time is right. “I don’t have to counter and give my safai to every allegation and not doing so, doesn’t make me wrong. It doesn’t have to be a public trial. Kavish will see stories online of our fights. Things are being handled legally and I will let things take their course’, said the popular TV actor.

Professionally, Karan Mehra is busy with his Punjabi show where he plays the role of a cop.
