Swara Bhasker Thanks Kangana Ranaut For Heartfelt Wish On Her Wedding To Fahad Ahmad

Kangana Ranaut wished Swara a happy marriage to political activist Fahad Ahmad. Kangana's sincere wish has now received a response from the 'Veere Di Wedding' star.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker recently announced getting married to political activist Fahad Ahmad. As soon as Swara broke the news on her social media handles, wishes and congratulatory messages for the actress on beginning a new journey in life began pouring in.

It appears that with the wedding, Swara Bhasker and Kangana Ranaut's animosity has finally subsided. The 'Manikarnika' actress caused a stir on social media when she wished Swara a happy marriage to political activist Fahad Ahmad. Kangana's sincere wish has now received a response from the 'Veere Di Wedding' star.

By responding to Swara's tweet announcing her engagement on Friday, Kangana offered her congratulations to the newlyweds. Kangana wrote, "You both look happy and blessed that’s God’s Grace … marriages happen in the hearts rest all are formalities …"

Replying to Kangana's tweet and thanking her for her heartfelt wishes, Swara wrote, "Thank you Kangana! May you have every happiness and joy."

Swara Bhasker took to Twitter to inform her fans of the joyous news of her marriage to Ahmad, whom she had first met in January 2020 while taking part in a rally against the disputed Citizenship Reform Act (CAA). Ahmad, a student leader, had assembled the young group of students to start the CAA resistance.

After announcing her marriage to Fahad Zirar Ahmad, she praised the Special Marriage Act's provisions. Swara shared a sweet video on her official Instagram account on Thursday that showed how the two met and became friends.

"Three cheers for the #SpecialMarriageAct (despite notice period etc.) At least it exists & gives love a chance… The right to love, the right to choose your life partner, the right to marry, the right to agency these should not be a privilege.@FahadZirarAhmad," she wrote.

Fahad is a political activist who served as the general secretary of Tata Institute of Social Science Students' Union. He is currently serving as the president of Samajwadi Party Yuvjan Sabha of Maharashtra and Mumbai.
