Swara Bhasker Lauds Special Marriage Act; Says 'At Least It Exists & Gives Love A Chance'

New Delhi: Swara Bhasker took to Twitter to laud the provisions of the Special Marriage Act after announcing her wedding to Fahad Zirar Ahmad. On Thursday, Swara took to her official Instagram account and shared an adorable video which traced how the two met each other and got along. Swara captioned the video, "Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours! ♥️✨🧿."
Fahad also reshared the video on his official Twitter handle with the capton, "I never knew chaos can be so beautiful ❤️Thank you for holding my hand love @ReallySwara 😘😘," obviously replying to Swara's message which she posted alongside the video.

Soon after Swara shared the post, congratulatory messages began to pour in for the couple.
On Friday, Swara shared a tweet which lauded the Special Marriage Act and said, "Three cheers for the #SpecialMarriageAct (despite notice period etc.) At least it exists & gives love a chance… The right to love, the right to choose your life partner, the right to marry, the right to agency these should not be a privilege.@FahadZirarAhmad✨✨✨♥️♥️♥️."

For those unaware, Fahad is a political activist who served as the general secretary of Tata Institute of Social Science Students' Union. In July 2022, he joined the Samajwadi Party in the presence of Abu Asim Azmi and Raees Shaikh. He is currently serving as the president of Samajwadi Party Yuvjan Sabha of Maharashtra and Mumbai.
