Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: ED Grills His House Manager Samuel Miranda For 9 Hours Over Allegations Of Conspiring With Rhea Chakraborty

On August 5, the Sushant Singh Rajput death case was transferred to the CBI for investigation and the ED has registered a complaint on money laundering against Rhea Chakraborty and others. It has been filed basis the FIR lodged by the late actor’s father. Read on to know more.

Mumbai: The Sushant Singh Rajput death case is witnessing new twist and turns every other day. Since the actor’s death, his fans and a few celebrities have been requesting the government for a CBI probe into the matter. Lately, many acquaintances have spoken up about their take on the case with the media. Some also even took to social media to share their point of view and what they think about Sushant’s unfortunate death. Reportedly, the CBI has registered a case against six people including his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. She arrived at Enforcement Directorate's office in Mumbai for questioning over allegations from his family that she had siphoned off money from his accounts and mentally harassed him. On the basis of this FIR, the Enforcement Directorate has registered a money laundering case on the accused people and has summoned Samuel Miranda for 9 hours. The ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s flatmate Samuel Hoakip revealed that Samuel was hired as the housekeeping manager of the home. Reports say ED grilled Miranda over allegations that he was part of a of a conspiracy led by Rajput’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty to wrongfully confine the deceased, change his employees with their own set of people and take charge of his finances, credit cards and bank accounts. An agency source was quoted, “We are verifying allegations that the case accused had replaced Sushant’s set of employees with their own set of trusted/familiar employees, his phone/s were kept by the accused and that his financial details – like credit cards and bank accounts – were being controlled by Rhea and her accused relatives.” In the meantime, Rhea Chakraborty had requested to postpone her statement recording to ED which they denied and asked her to join the probe. The ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ actress has now reached the office of ED in Mumbai for recording her statement in the money laundering case.
