New Delhi: 'Devara', formerly known as 'NTR30', is one of the eagerly awaited films starring Jr. NTR. The actor plays two characters in the movie, which is directed by Koratala Siva and is about a community of fishermen. Devara's makers recently revealed that the movie will be released in two parts.

According to reports, he will play both the father and the son in the film. Along with him, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor also appear in the movie. Director Koratala Siva made the same announcement in a special video. He stated that the film will have strong characters who will explore something new. That is why he believes that it would be challenging to tell the whole of Devara's story in a single installment.

'Devara Part 1' will be released on April 5, 2024, according to Siva's statement.

In a video the film-maker said, “I am here to share an interesting update about the film. As I said earlier, the film is set in the backdrop of the forgotten lands of Coastal India. The canvas is too big. As we started shooting the film, it started getting bigger and bigger and every character in the film has got its own weight. They need to be explored and established in depth and detail, which we can’t justify in one part. So we took a decision to tell this big story in two parts. The story won’t change in shape but will thrive in scale. So I am here to share this news that one of the biggest canvas ever of Devara will be done in two parts. And April 5th is just the beginning.”

The film also features major roles starring Prakash Raj, Jissu Sengupta, Srikanth, Tom Chacko, Narine, and Murali Sharma. The musical score is being written by music director Anirudh Ravichander.

Janhvi Kapoor will make her film debut in the South cinema with 'Devara' and work with Jr NTR for the first time ever. Producing the film are Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts.
