The narrative sets the stage for the two incarnations of NTR Jr.—Devara and Vara—as they confront the question of courage: the will to fight versus the instinct to survive.

Janhvi Kapoor on her Telugu debut with Devara
In an interview with 'Film Companion', Janhvi Kapoor shared her excitement about working on her latest film. "It’s been a lot of fun, and I’m having a blast. After doing films where I’m freezing in a freezer, dislocating my shoulder, or acting alongside a rat, I’ve come to realize that I’m finally letting myself enjoy the things that come naturally to me—like nautanki, dialoguebaazi, dancing, and just having fun. I’m now embracing the kind of roles I grew up watching and loving. This film is allowing me to do all of that, and I think I’m going easier on myself and really enjoying the process," she shared.
