Devara Part 1 Advance Booking: Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor Film Collects More Than $500k In US

Advance bookings for the US premiere of Koratala Siva's Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, have officially opened.

Devara Advance Booking: Advance bookings for the US premiere of Koratala Siva's Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, have officially opened. According to USA distributors Prathyangira Cinemas, the film has already surpassed $500k in pre-sales.

On their X (formerly Twitter) account, the distributors shared, "#DEVARA RAMPAGE is painting the USA RED. The count has begun with $500K+ USA Premieres Pre-Sales, and the MASS wave is unstoppable. #DevaraUSA #AllHailTheTIGER.*" While the film is set to release in theaters on September 27, the US premieres will take place on September 26. With advance bookings just opening, the film is expected to collect even more in the coming days.

Janhvi Kapoor on her South Debut

Janhvi Kapoor, who has signed two Telugu films after her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Dhadak, is starring in Devara: Part 1 and has also signed a project with director Buchi Babu Sana alongside Ram Charan.

Speaking to PTI about her South debut, Janhvi shared, "Somehow it makes me feel closer to my mom, being in that environment, hearing, and speaking in that language. It just felt like the right time, and I felt a natural pull towards it."

About Devara: Part 1

Devara: Part 1 features Jr NTR as the lead character, Janhvi Kapoor as Thangam, and Saif Ali Khan as Bhaira. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain. Initially planned as a standalone film, it was later decided to split it into two parts. With this being Jr NTR’s first project since the blockbuster success of RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, expectations are sky-high. Advance bookings in India will open at a later date.
