Amaran Box Office First Weekend Colection: Sivakarthekiyan Film Collects Rs. 100 Cr In India, Overseas Earnings Are Even Better

As expected, the Rajkumar Periasamy film has reached the Rs. 100 cr club globally after its first weekend in theatres,post release.

'Amaran' has become Sivakarthikeyan's third film to enter the Rs. 100 cr club after his previous entries like 'Doctor' and 'Don'.

'Amaran' collected Rs. 21.72 cr on Day 4, which is almost equal to what the film collected on its opening day and Day 3. This consistency is naturally good for the film's growth. 

Currently, 'Amaran' is facing stiff competition from Jayam Ravi's 'Brother', Kavin's 'Bloody Beggar' and the big Diwali releases 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Singham Again'.

'Amaran' collected Rs. 21.4 cr on Day 1 and 3, and saw a light dip on Day 2 when it collected Rs. 19.15 cr.The film's total domestic collection stands at Rs. 83.45 cr after its four-day extended Diwali weekend. 

The film's overseas gross is definitely higher. The film collected more than $5 million across the overseas markets. 

Trade analyst AB George shared the film's business on X and wrote, "#Amaran $5M+ opening weekend from overseas markets 🔥🔥🔥 SUPER DUPER start for Tier-2 star 🔥 TRENDING VERY MUCH HIGHER than his competitors 👏 Siva Karthikeyan showing mass 🔥🔥🔥

Amaran's performance in Kerala and the Telugu-speaking states is also quite impressive.

'Amaran' is a biographical action war film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, together with Sony Pictures Films India. The film is adapted from a book series titled 'India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes' by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.
