Amaran Box Office Collection Day 10: Sivakarthikeyan's Film Grosses Over Rs 200 Crore Worldwide, Becomes Career's Biggest Hit

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's 'Amaran' was released in theaters on October 31 and has since grossed over Rs 200 crore worldwide.

New Delhi: The biographical war-action film Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and featuring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, has been a global box office phenomenon, earning more than Rs 200 crore. Dramatising the heroic tale of Major Mukund Varadarajan and his wife Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the film has become Sivakarthikeyan's highest-grossing film to date.

Amaran Box Office Collection Day 10

In its first week of release in India, ‘Amaran’ made Rs 114.85 crore net. On Saturday alone, the film made an estimated ₹14.5 crore net, marking a substantial 95.95% rise in weekend earnings, according to trade data from Sacnilk. In Tamil Nadu alone, it reaches Rs 100 crore in only 9 days.

‘Amaran’ is anticipated to continue its impressive success at the box office in the days to come, thanks to its favourable reviews and strong word of mouth.

This Tamil biographical drama also signifies a turning point in Sivakarthikeyan's career as ther film globally made Rs 200 crore.

The production house also shared a poster of Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund on X (previously Twitter) to commemorate Amaran's worldwide profits surpassing Rs 200 crore.

About ‘Amaran’

Helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy, 'Amaran' is an adaptation of Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes. The film's plot revolves on Major Mukund Varadarajan's heroic endeavour. Reviewers have gushed about Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's chemistry and powerful screen presence as the courageous soldier and his wife, respectively. The film also features Bhuvan Arora, Anbu Thasan, Shreekumar, Mir Salman, Suresh Chakravarthy and Rahul Bose.
