19 Years After Devdas, Shah Rukh Khan In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Film Titled ‘Izhaar’!
The movie titled Izhaar is an unconventional story based on the life of a man who cycled from India to Norway for a girl.
If buzz is to be believed then Shah Rukh Khan is once again ready to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after their 2002 blockbuster, Devdas. Ever since Devdas, fans have been speculating another collaboration of the ace director and the Bollywood superstar and now a report in an online portal suggests that Shah Rukh Khan has given nod to a film that Bhansali has wanted to make for almost four years.
The movie titled Izhaar is an unconventional story based on the life of a man who cycled from India to Norway for a girl.
A source close to the movie revealed to the portal, “It was a film that Bhansali wanted to do with SRK around four years ago. It's a love story revolving around this couple - an Indian man and a Norwegian girl. It's based on the real-life story of the guy who cycled all the way to Norway for love.”
Bhansali wanted to work with Shah Rukh since a long time and reportedly had even offered SRK both Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat but things didn’t work out and the movies went to Ranveer Singh.
There were also rumours that the Devdas maker wanted to cast Salman Khan and Shah Rukh together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2, however that also never materialised.
And now looks like finally Bhansali and SRK are reuniting for ‘Izhaar’ however nothing is official as such!
SLB is currently busy with ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ with Alia Bhatt while SRK is shooting for ‘Pathan’ with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie also stars Salman Khan in a guest role.
