Late Dilip Kumar's Wife Saira Banu Hospitalized, In ICU

Saira Banu Hospitalized: 77-year-old Saira Banu, wife of late Dilip Kumar is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital.

Veteran Bollywood actress and wife of late Dilip Kumar,Saira Banu has been hospitalised in Hinduja Hospital, Khar(Mumbai) after she complained of issues related to blood pressure three days ago. 77-year-old Banu is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital.

Sources close to hospital informed ABP News that the health of Saira Banu is said to be stable now, her BP is not getting normal which means that the oxygen level remains low, due to which there is difficulty in breathing.

As per a family friend, Banu had been hospitalised three days ago due to issues with her blood pressure levels.

The 77-year-old star has been admitted to the same hospital where her late husband and legendary actor Dilip Kumar had been admitted. Dilip Kumar, best known as Tragedy King, passed away on July 7, 2021.

Saira Banu recently lost her husband, legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who passed away at the age of 98, due to age-related health issues. Dilip Kumar was buried with state funeral protocols and Saira had thanked PM Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for giving so much respect to the departed soul.

Saira Banu made her Bollywood debut in 1961 with the movie 'Junglee' opposite late actor Shammi Kapoor. She is celebrated for films like 'Padosan' (1968), 'Hera Pheri' (1976), 'Diwana' (1967) and 'Purab Aur Paschim' (1970).
