New Delhi: A video of Martin Brundle and Ranveer Singh from the Formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi is doing the rounds on the internet. After the former racing driver and commentator revealed that he momentarily forgot who Ranveer was during the interview, netizens applauded the actor for how well he handled the situation.

The video shows Brundle greeting Ranveer during the grid walk, Ranveer said that he felt on top of the world. He also added, "I can feel the exhilaration and the adrenaline." It was at that instant that Brundle told that he had momentarily forgotten who Ranveer was and if he could introduce himself. Ranveer, very humbly replied, "I’m a Bollywood actor, sir, I hail from Mumbai, India. I’m an entertainer."

Ranveer was wearing a quirky yellow outfit and Brundle appreciated his look. He said, "The respect for that suit! Because that is punching." Responding to him, Ranveer joked, “You know the best part, Sir, I have to send it all back in the morning.”

Ranveer Singh's humble attitude won the hearts of his fans and netizens alike. One of the users commented, "Ranveer Singh, you have killed it on the grid walk at the Abu Dhabi F1" while another user said, "The acceptance to introduce himself is the best." 

Another tweet read, “One has got to respect his humility.”, and another followed with, "Nothing wrong with it actually. Same as Maria Sharapova not knowing who Sachin was a few years back. Awards and all is a different topic but this should not be a basis for judging because can happen w any of your favs."

Apart from Brundle, the actor also met England Test captain Ben Stokes and shared a few fun moments with American Singer Akon.

Akon, a well-known American singer, was also spotted with Ranveer Singh at the F1 race. The actor made Akon sing and dance to Chammak Challo in true Ranveer Singh fashion! In the viral internet video, Ranveer can be seen sporting a vibrant suit and some sunglasses. Akon, meanwhile, looked sharp in white slacks and a blue top.

When Ranveer Singh received the superstar of the decade award at Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night 2022 (FFME 2022) on Saturday, he became emotional and even left his parents in tears. The actor looked back to his early years when he didn't have the cash to pay for his portfolio and remembered crying and asking his mother if he would ever be a successful actor. 

Ranveer Singh will be seen next in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus along with  Johnny Lever, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, and Jacqueline Fernandez. Apart from that, he will also be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani along with Alia Bhatt. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on April 28, 2023. Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi are also present in the movie.
