New Delhi: The most talked about wedding in the tinsel town other than that of Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif’s, is Ranbir and Alia’s. Ever since Ranbir Kapoor started dating Alia Bhatt, fans of the couple have been eagerly waiting for them to tie the knot. Earlier, it was speculated that they will be tying the knot by the end of this year, but now, according to a latest report, Ranbir-Alia has postponed their wedding by a year.

According to a report of BollywoodLife, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have pushed their plans of getting married by almost a year. The report further added that the reason behind them postponing their wedding is because of their tight schedule and also because of the fact that they are planning a destination wedding and this will reportedly consume time.

The report in BollywoodLife reads, “Firstly, they have choc-a-bloc shoot schedules for their respective films. December is around the corner now and everything will be in full-on action mode next year. Secondly, the two plan a destination wedding, outside India and therefore, arrangements and prepping will take some time. They will also go on a long break before and after the wedding.”

“Third and one of the most important reasons perhaps is their film Brahmastra. The film’s team, as well as Ranbir and Alia, wanted the film to release before they officially become man and wife. And now, with the film releasing in September 2022, a wedding towards the end of next year or early 2023 can be possible”, further read the report in BollywoodLife.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are often spotted visiting their under-construction house in Mumbai. The couple will reportedly move into their new home after becoming man and wife.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen sharing the screen space for the very first time with Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’.
