New Delhi: ‘GodFather’, Chiranjeevi's latest film, is a critical and commercial success. ‘GodFather’ was released in theatres on October 5, much to the joy of the actor's devoted fanbase. Despite the fact that it was released in theatres at the same time as Nagarjuna's ‘The Ghost’, the movie was met with favourable critical reception, which contributed to its commercial success.

Rajinikanth, a seasoned actor, is the most recent person to speak highly of the film. GodFather director Mohan Raja praised Rajinikanth for his opinion on the film in a tweet on Monday night.

Mohan Raja shared the news about Rajinikanth seeing GodFather on Monday through his Twitter account. The director of the film expressed gratitude to Rajinikanth for his support of the project. 

Sharing the 100 crores poster of the film, Mohan wrote on Twitter, “Superstar watched #Godfather 😇. Excellent!! very nice!! very interesting!!! are few of the remarks in his detailed appreciation on the adaptions made for the Telugu version. Thank u so much Thalaiva @rajinikanth sir, one of the best moments of life.. means a lotttt.”

‘GodFather’ is an official adaptation of the Malayalam blockbuster film Lucifer. Both films star Chiranjeevi. In order to better cater to the preferences of the Telugu audience, the director Mohan Raja made several alterations to the screenplay.

The movie was released on Dussehra, and in its first extended weekend, it made more than 100 crores at the box office. The movie is on track to become one of the greatest blockbusters of Chiranjeevi's career.

Starring Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Satyadev Kancharana, GodFather is a political action thriller directed by Mohan Raja. In the movie, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also makes a cameo appearance.
