Popular Bollywood Singer Shilpa Rao Of Gungroo & Bulleya Fame Gets MARRIED To Boyfriend Ritesh Krishnan!

Shilpa took everyone by surprise as she announced her wedding on her Instagram handle on Thursday.

After Varun Dhawan & Natasha Dalal's big fat Punjabi wedding another Bollywood celebrity got married in a hush hush ceremony!

Singer Shilpa Rao, best known for popular songs like 'Gungroo' ('War') and 'Bulleya' ('Ae Dil Hai Mushkil') tied the nuptial knot with her boyfriend of three years and photographer Ritesh Krishnan.

The duo had a quiet wedding ceremony at her home on January 25.

Shilpa took everyone by surprise as she announced her wedding on her Instagram handle on Thursday. She posted her first selfie with her hubby and wrote, “Our first selfie as Mr. & Mrs.” In the picture, Shilpa looked lovely in heavily embroidered embellished maroon saree with gold jewellery. Ritesh, on the other hand, looked dapper in a sherwani. The newly married couple flashed big smiles as they posed for the perfect picture.

Take a look at Shilpa Rao’s Instagram post below:

Speaking to Bombay Times, Shilpa says, “Our parents are senior citizens and therefore we chose to do a simple registered wedding at home. We kept it simple, decorated the house with flowers and my brother’s wife did my mehendi. We formally registered the wedding at around 5pm, and all my friends and family members from across the world joined in on a video call to see the ceremony.”

Our heartiest congratulations to Shilpa & Ritesh for their new beginning.
