Sara Ali Khan Gears Up To Be Seen As Freedom Fighter Usha Mehta In ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’

Sara Ali Khan, known for her outstanding performances, is gearing up to demonstrate her versatility in her highly awaited upcoming film, 'Ae Watan Mere Watan.' Slated for release on Amazon Prime Video on March 21, this movie signifies a significant shift in Sara's career as she steps into the role of the formidable freedom fighter Usha Mehta.

In the film, Sara plays the challenging role of Usha Mehta, a courageous freedom fighter pivotal in the 1942 Quit India Movement. Usha Mehta's courage and defiance against the British Raj was manifested through her establishment of an underground radio station, where she used her voice as a potent weapon against oppression. Sara's performance pledges to vividly depict the inspiring journey of this unsung hero from India's history paying homage to India's glorious history.

Apart from 'Ae Watan Mere Watan', Sara is also gearing up for 'Murder Mubarak', which will release on March 15 on Netflix. Talking about promoting both the films at the same time, Sara said, "I have to promote 2 movies that are releasing pretty back to back, 15th of march I have 'Murder Mubarak' release, 21st of March I have 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' releasing so I have to really start working and pushing and be grateful for what I have.
