'Panchayat Season 4' To Premiere In July 2025 — But Fans Get To Decide The Release Date

Panchayat Season 4 is set for a July 2025 release, but Amazon and TVF have launched an online poll allowing fans to vote for an early premiere.

In a unique twist blending fiction with fan interactivity, 'Panchayat Season 4' is gearing up for a July 2025 release — but not without a public vote. Originally expected to premiere on July 2, the much-anticipated return of the Amazon Prime Video show now depends on viewers’ choice, thanks to an inventive campaign launched by the makers in collaboration with The Viral Fever (TVF).

Fans Get to Vote for Panchayat's Release Date!

Taking a cue from the show’s village election theme, Panchayat's promotional campaign has turned into a real-time digital poll. Viewers are being asked to “vote” for the show’s early premiere by logging on to panchayatvoting.com — a clever, satirical spin that echoes the show's signature wit. The campaign features a musical face-off between two rival camps: Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar), each promoted by their political entourages with hilarious, over-the-top promises including airbag-fitted bicycles and village airstrips.

What’s in Store for Panchayat Season 4?

Season 4 of Panchayat promises more than just laughs. With the previous season ending on a shocking note — the shooting of Pradhan Ji (Raghubir Yadav) — the stakes are higher than ever. As elections loom in the fictional village of Phulera, fans can expect intense drama, rising political rivalries, emotional reckonings, and the return of Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar), aka Banrakas, whose feud with Pradhan Ji is set to explode.

Jitendra Kumar reprises his beloved role as Abhishek Tripathi, the city-bred panchayat secretary trying to make sense of grassroots politics and rural bureaucracy. He is joined once again by Neena Gupta, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Sunita Rajwar, Pankaj Jha, and others who have brought Phulera to life over the past three seasons.

Will Rinki and Abhishek’s Romance Finally Bloom?

Another major arc viewers are eagerly waiting for is the slow-burning romance between Abhishek and Rinki (Sanvikaa). Season 4 is expected to explore their evolving bond in greater depth, with Pradhan Ji and Manju Devi possibly discovering the budding relationship. Will they approve? Or will more drama unfold in Phulera’s already heated landscape?

What the Makers Are Saying

Speaking about the creative direction, director Deepak Kumar Mishra said, “Season one was more intimate, centered on emotions and objects. By season two, the narrative expanded... Bhushan aka Banrakas rose naturally—driven by the plot and my own fondness for him. And yes, Bhushan vs Pradhanji is far from over!”

Meanwhile, writer Chandan Kumar shared, “Each season is like peeling a new layer of an onion — what appears simple on the surface carries many emotions and complex dynamics underneath.”

Produced by TVF, Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra

Panchayat Season 4 continues under the creative vision of Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya, with Chandan Kumar penning the script. Backed by TVF, the show has carved a niche in Indian web content for its heartfelt, humorous, and honest portrayal of rural India.

So if you’re eager to watch it early, go vote — because in Phulera, democracy is very much alive, and this time, you get to decide when the drama begins.
