Looks like one of Indian TV industry's longest running and most popular shows is all set to make a part on an OTT streaming giant Netflix. Netflix India shared a teaser of the show 'CID' on their official social media handle and made the announcement showing some catchphrase dialogues and popular moments from the show. 

Taking to their official X handle, Netflix India wrote, "CID, ab Netflix ke darwaze par bhi 🔥💥Kal se dekhiye CID naye season ke saare released episodes Netflix par bhi! Saath hi naye episodes har Shanivaar aur Ravivaar raat 10 baje🕵️‍♂️ #CIDonNetflix.”

Soon after Netflix made the announcement, social media was flooded with other fans requesting shows like 'Crime Patrol' and 'Fear Files' to be made available. Many die-hard fans of the show were super-elated to see 'CID' venture into OTT. Some even ridiculed the platform saying, "Kya ghisa pita le kar aa rhe ho."

Another user wrote, "Way to Go NETFLIXXXXXX! this SonyLIV shows ads even if you buy Premium 😑😑 Netflix is the best 🔥🔥 Daya TUDDUMMM KARO 🔥🔥🔥."

"Netflix won't let me study for my boards ong," a fan wrote.

"Waiting for Ekta Kapoor’s Hindi Dramas on Netflix 😂," another wrote.
