Bigg Boss OTT: Actor Ranvir Shorey, currently a participant in Bigg Boss OTT 3, mentioned his past relationship with actor-director Pooja Bhatt in a recent episode. While speaking to journalist Deepak Chaurasia, the actor recalled ‘the biggest scandal of his life’.

In a recent conversation, Ranvir recounted the time when he was shooting for the 2002 film ‘Lakshya’ and he got a call informing about his mother’s ill health. He said that he had to stay on the set until it was over because they were filming in Ladakh.

The actor also went on to say that during the same time, he was involved in “the biggest scandal” of his life with an actress.

Ranvir said, “During the same time, I also encountered the biggest scandal of my life with another actress. As I was unable to cope, my brother asked me to come to the US with him for a while. I pursued a six-month acting course in the US and borrowed money from my brother. After returning from the US, I started shooting for The Great Indian Comedy Show in 2005”.

“At that time, two of my long-shelved films were greenlit for release and hit theaters back-to-back within a week and my work was loved by audiences. After those films, I finally felt my life was steady as an actor and that I had arrived,” he added.

For the uninitiated, Ranvir Shorey and Pooja Bhatt, who were close friends, got romantically involved. The couple reportedly started living together. But after a while, things turned ugly, and they separated. Pooja even made accusations against Ranvir, claiming that he had anger issues and would physically attack her after drinking. However, the latter denied the charges.

In 2010, Ranvir got married to Konkona Sen Sharma. They welcomed their son, Haroon, in 2011. However, the actors separated in 2015. Now, they share their son’s custody.
