New Delhi: Separation announcements often lead to court battles, and Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra are no exception. The pair can't stop bickering over their relationship problems. Strong rumours circulated that Nisha Rawal was having an extramarital affair at the same time that she was falsely accusing Karan Mehra of domestic abuse and other offences. She criticized her former husband, Karan Mehra, for creating unnecessary drama and urged him to act civilly.

At a recent press appearance, Nisha dismissed all of the charges made against her and said that nobody has any business knowing the details of her private life. On September 12, she gave proof during the news conference in response to recent allegations made by Karan.

Nisha said, "Please stop this. This is becoming a drama and it is becoming a media trial. Let’s do this in a civilized way. I feel vulnerable. Stop doing this. I feel scared for myself and my child. What if tomorrow, he (their child) watches the videos, or what if I step out of the home and someone says something in front of my son? Lastly, I am not playing a sympathy card, Karan is in fact playing the sympathy card. I want to raise a child in a healthy environment and if Karan Mehra can’t contribute then please back off. Let me live my life."

Nisha also addressed the rumours that she is having an extramarital affair. She said, "What I do in my personal life is none of Karan's business nor what he does in his personal space any of my business. We're both adults and should respect that. I don't want to comment any further on this".

She also said Karan isn't obeying the law to see Kavish. She said Karan never battled for Kavish's visiting privileges, just complete custody. She added, "We were fine with giving visitation rights to Karan, but he declined to accept it and wanted full custody of the child but when he was asked about his work, he claimed to be jobless. How will he take care of the child when he isn't working?"

For the unversed, Karan Mehra claims Nisha had an affair with Rohit Sathia. The couple has a son named Kavish. Karan has previously said that he wants to have his child and that Nisha is exploiting their kid Kavish to seek sympathy.

Nisha has finally spoken out to defend herself, denying all the accusations made against her and insisting that she has no one to answer to except herself.
