Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Mother Files Police Complaint Against The Actor’s Wife Aaliya Siddiqui

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother Mehroonisa Siddiqui has registered a complaint against the actor’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui. The Versova police have summoned Aaliya for questioning.

New Delhi: Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother Mehroonisa Siddiqui has registered a complaint against the actor’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui. The Versova police have summoned Aaliya for questioning.

The FIR is registered against Aalia at Versova police station after  Mehroonisa’s complaint under sections 452, 323, 504, and 506 of IPC. There is also an ongoing property dispute between Nawaz’s mother and wife.

Aaliya took to Instagram and posted a copy of the complaint against her and wrote, "Shocking.. my genuine criminal complaints against my husband go unattended by Police. However, I enter my Husband's house and a criminal complaint / FIR is immediately filed against me within a few hours. Will I ever get justice, this way."

Aaliya had earlier accused the actor of infidelity. In a 2020 interview with Pinkvilla, she had alleged that Nawaz used to have women over when she was expecting their first child. “I remember it very clearly that even when we were dating and were about to get married, he was already in a relationship with someone else. We used to fight a lot before and after marriage as well. When I was pregnant, I had to drive all by myself for check-ups. My doctor used to tell me that I’m mad and I’m the first lady who’s come alone for delivery. My labour pain started and Nawaz and his parents were there. But when I was in pain, my husband is not with me. He was talking to his girlfriend on calls. I knew everything because there used to be itemised statement of phone bills,” she was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.

Aaliya and Nawaz got married in 2010 and have two kids. Aaliya filed for divorce on May 6, 2020 but later in 2021 she reversed her decision to divorce him.

Speaking to Times Of India then about her decision she had said, "I was down with COVID, and Nawaz not only took care of the children, but also me. This was despite what I said about him. He kept our differences aside and looked after me. Whenever I have been under stress, he has always helped me. This pandemic was an eye-opener. I realised what matters the most is the well-being of your children and good health. Our children need us, and if their happiness lies in us being together, we can keep our disagreements aside. I have withdrawn the legal notice that I had filed. I don't seek divorce anymore, and I want to give this marriage a chance."
