Yesteryear actress Sonam MARRIES again after DIVORCING director husband after 25 years of marriage!
Yesteryear actress Sonam aka Bakhtavar Khan, who has worked with some of the biggest Bollywood stars like Rishi Kapoor, Govinda, Dharmendra among others, got married for the second time to a divorced businessman Murali Poduva. Known for her hot and glamorous image, Sonam was at the peak of her career after films like 'Vijay', 'Tridev', 'Mitti Aur Sona', 'Ajooba' and 'Vishwatma' in the late 80s and early 90s after which she got married film director Rajiv Rai, who had directed her in blockbusters like 'Tridev' and 'Vishwatma'.

In 1997, Rajiv was targetted by the underworld and attacked outside his office. Soon the couple decided to leave India. Later on, Sonam and Rajiv settled in Los Angeles and then shifted to Switzerland along with their son Gaurav. But a few years ago, the two moved back to Mumbai but have been living separately since 2011.

Love blossomed again in her life when she met a friend, Murali Poduval, in Puducherry, who proposed her for marriage soon and she accepted it to give love a chance all over again.

Speaking bout her second marriage, Sonam revealed to SpotboyE that, "Murali and I had a nikkah on April 14 in Ooty."

The actress, who danced to popular songs like 'Tirchi Topiwale' and 'Dil Le Gayi Teri Bindiya', also has some film offers under negotiation as well and she plans to do movies again.
