WTC Final: Anushka Sharma Shares Glimpse Of How Ind Vs NZ Match Toss Looked From Her 'Bedroom Balcony'

Anushka Sharma is watching the World Test Championship Final between India and New Zealand from her hotel, which is located in the premises of Ageas Bowl.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who accompanied her husband and Indian Cricket captain Virat Kohli for the World Test Championship finals to England, shared a glimpse of the match toss between India and New Zealand on her Instagram story. Guess what? The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress is watching the much-awaited final match from her room’s balcony as her hotel is located inside the stadium premises.  

While cricket buffs are enjoying the match on television, Anushka is busy catching the live action from her bedroom’s balcony. She posted a photo of Virat and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson from the WTC’s toss along with the caption, “Toss rom bedroom balcony.”

WTC Final: Anushka Sharma Shares Glimpse Of How Ind Vs NZ Match Toss Looked From Her 'Bedroom Balcony

Anushka has been sharing glimpse of her life in England on her Instagram stories. She gorged on yummy scones while enjoying the rainy English summer day in her hotel room.  

The ‘Pari’ actress was disappointed when rains affected the first day of play of the World Test Championship at Ageas Bowl. She shared a post on social media that read, “Rain rain, go away. Come again after five days.”

Anushka and Virat welcomed their first child on January 11, 2021. The couple, who got married on December 11, 2017, has named their baby girl Vamika. Earlier this month, Virushka, as fondly called by fans, jetted off to the UK for the finals of the World Test Championship. 

Virat, while interacting with a fan on Instagram, divulged the reason why he and Anushka have refrained from sharing a full-fledged photo of their daughter.

On the professional front, Anushka’s last film ‘Zero’ released in 2018. The romantic drama also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The ‘NH-10’ actress has stayed away from acting assignments since the past two-and-half-years. Sharma has successfully managed to don the hat of producer as two of her projects, ‘Bulbbul’ and ‘Pataal Lok’, created ripples in the OTT space. 

Anushka Sharma’s production house is currently busy with ‘Qala’, which will mark the Bollywood debut of late Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan. The Netflix original also stars Tripti Dimri.
