Woah! Janhvi Kapoor to ROMANCE Sidharth Malhotra in 'Dostana 2'?

Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham starrer ‘Dostana’ managed to win the hearts of the audience when it was released in 2008.  The Tarun Mansukhani directorial is considered to be the first mainstream film in Bollywood which had a gay element. Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for ‘Dostana 2’ since quite some time. Speculations are rife that Karan Johar is very keen to bring the second installment of the ‘Dostana’ series and he has already roped in his two protégées Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra for the film. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that KJo wanted to make ‘Dostana 2’ for a long time but the lack of a good script had kept the film on the back burner. The ‘Brahmastra’ producer has finalized Sidharth and Janhvi for the comic entertainer while the lookout for the other male lead is currently going on. Now finally he has a script for the film, which of course will speed up production. As for the cast, Karan has finalized both Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, and is currently looking out for the third lead role that will again be a male lead,” a source told Bollyood Hungama. Interestingly, Tarun will once again don the hat of the director for ‘Dostana 2’, the report said. However, the film will take some before it goes on floors as the makers are busy looking for the third lead. “Like the first film this one too will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The only difference will be the story and cast that will change. But as of now with the hunt still on, the film is still a long way off from going on floor,” the source further told the portal. Both Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor made their Bollywood debut with films produced under Karan’s home banner Dharma Productions. While Sid made his silver screen debut with ‘Student of the Year 2’ along with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, Janhvi’s debut film was ‘Dhadak’.
