Mumbai: Ishaan Khatter received appreciated for his acting skills in all his films. Be it 'Beyond the Clouds' or 'A Suitable Boy', Ishaan won hearts with his power-packed performance. The star kid has reportedly bagged a big project. Speculations are rife that the 'Dhadak' actor will play the titular role in hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand's biopic. Abhishek Chaubey will direct the upcoming film.

Ishaan Khatter Is The First Choice Of Makers

According to media reports, Ishaan Khatter is the first choice of the makers to play the role of Major Dhyan Chand. According to report in an entertainment portal, the team feels Ishaan will be perfect for the role. 

“The makers felt that Ishaan will suit the part well, while the actor is also extremely excited to play such an important character. Ishaan has agreed to be a part of the project, however, he is yet to sign on the dotted line. As of now, the plan is to take the film on floors next year,” a source told Pinkvilla.

 Dhyan Chand, who scored over 1500 goals in his career, is considered one of the greatest players in Hockey. Known for his mind-boggling goal-scoring feats, Chand helped India in securing three gold medals in Olympics in Hockey.

On the professional front, Ishaan will be next seen in Pippa, which also stars Mrunal Thakur. He will entertain the audience with 'Phone Bhoot', which is expected to hit the silver screens next year. Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi are also a part of the film.
