WATCH: Anushka Sharma cheers for hubby Virat Kohli as he receives Khel Ratna Award

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli was conferred with the country’s highest sporting honour- Rajeev Gandhi Khel Ratna Award on Tuesday, by President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtraprati Bhawan. Wife Anushka Sharma was also present to support Kohli and the ‘Sui Dhaaga’ actress cheered for the cricketer from the audience. Virat’s mother Saroj Kohli and brother Vikas Kohli were also sitting in the audience to cheer for him. Virat has become the third Indian crickter to receive the honour after Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Anushka, who is currently busy promoting her film ‘Sui Dhaaga:Made in India’, can be seen cheering for Virat as he goes to receive his award from the President.  The video has been going viral on the internet and fans have not been able to stop themselves from gushing over the couple. Anushka looked beautiful in a black and golden saree while Virat complimented the ‘Zero’ actress in a black suit. The cricketer has was also honoured with the Arjuna award in 2013 and the Padma Shri in 2017.

Talking about Anushka, the Bollywood diva will be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in ‘Sui Dhaaga’. The Sharat Katariya directorial will hit the silver screens on September 28. Watch this space for more updates!
