VIDEO: Kareena Kapoor's reaction as Shahid Kapoor confirms he's going to be a father

New Delhi:  At at the trailer launch of 'Udta Punjab', Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor admitted that he is going to become a father. When asked about reports about his fatherhood, the actor told reporters, “Why are you asking ghuma firake (round about), ask directly. Yes…haan mein baap banane wala hoon (yes, I am going to become a father).” Shahid's former girlfriend Kareena on the stage found his reaction amusing.  The two have teamed up after a long time on screen with "Udta Punjab", but the former couple doesn't seem to be keen on pairing up against each other. They broke up when they were shooting for "Jab We Met" and after that they never worked with each other. Now they have come back on screen together after a very long time for Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab". But interestingly they don't have any scenes together in the film. SLIDESHOW: No on-screen romance again for Shahid and Kareena!  Meanwhile, Shahid and his wife Mira Rajput, who tied the knot in July last year, are expecting their first child. Mira’s reported pregnancy became a talking point when she walked the ramp at the fashion week recently. A recent post by Indian fashion designer Masaba Gupta on her Instagram page sparked the ‘rumour’ and set the gossip mills abuzz when she hinted at Mira’s pregnancy.
