Manish Malhotra Shares Unseen PIC With Varun Dhawan's Mother From His Mehendi Ceremony

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan got married to his ladylove Natasha Dalal on January 24. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Alibaug’s ‘The Mansion House’. Varun and Natasha’s wedding grabbed several eyeballs as a B-town A-lister got hitched after a long time. Manish Malhotra, who attended the celebrations in Alibaug, posted a photo from the mehendi function on social media.

The popular designer shared a photo with Varun’s mother Laali Dhawan from the pre-wedding ceremony on his Instagram handle. Laali can be seen all dressed in a traditional attire in the mehendi function. She donned a red ethnic outfit which she paired with a green dupatta. Manish Malhotra wore a blue kurta and white pyajama for Varun and Natasha’s mehendi.

Laali dropped a comment on the post and thanked Manish for the ‘last minute errands’. She wrote, “Thanx for all the last minute errands and expertise.

Varun wore an outfit, designed by Manish Malhotra, for his wedding. Malhotra, who designed the clothes for Dhawan’s first film ‘Student Of The Year’, penned a heartfelt post for the actor on social media.

He wrote, “Dearest Natasha and Varun many congratulations wish you’ll happiness and abundance of laughter together my dear Varun from attending Lalli and Davidji’s wedding, to seeing you growing up and then styling you in your first film , to seeing you become such an accomplished actor and now dressing you as a groom and being there at your lovely and intimate wedding was a warm and emotional experience... the way you’ll looked at each other at the varmala was a very beautiful and heart felt moment. Lots of love and blessings always.”

Manish had also shared a photo with his good friend Karan Johar from Varun’s wedding. He captioned the post as, “Friends forever .. dapper always.”

Talking about Varun, the ‘Kalank’ actor will be next seen in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. The comedy drama, which is being directed by Raj Mehta, also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh. The cast and crew have wrapped up the first schedule of the upcoming film in Chandigarh.

Varun’s last film ‘Coolie No.1’ premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video on December 25. The movie co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Paresh Rawal received a mixed response from the critics and fans. It is the remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer of the same name.
