Thalapathy 65: Vijay's Film Gets An Official Title Ahead Of His Birthday; Releases FIRST LOOK

The makers of Vijay’s upcoming movie also released the first poster of the film. Film critic Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle and announced the official title of the movie along with its brand-new poster.

Mumbai: South Indian superstar Vijay joined hands with director Nelson Dilipkumar for his upcoming movie which was tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’. Ahead of Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday on June 22, the makers revealed the official title of this upcoming movie.

The film which was tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’ has now been officially titled as ‘Beast’.

Last month, reportedly, actor Vijay and the crew members of ‘Beast’ flew to Georgia for the first slot of shooting. The second slot of the movie which was supposed to be shot in Chennai got delayed due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, Sun Pictures announced the movie by releasing a short teaser of the movie giving a glimpse of ‘Beast’. The production house tweeted, “We are happy to announce Thalapathy @actorvijay ’s Thalapathy65bySunPictures directed by @nelsondilpkumar and music by @anirudhofficial #Thalapathy65”.

‘Beast’ was earlier tentatively titled Thalapathy 65 as this movie marks Thalapathy Vijay’s 65^th movie. The 'Kolamavu Kokila' fame Nelson is directing the movie and in the female lead, Pooja Hegde will be seen alongside Ilayathapahy, and Malayalam film actress Aparna Das.
