Takht: Not Alia Bhatt but Janhvi Kapoor will romance Ranveer Singh in Karan Johar's film!

In August this year, filmmaker Karan Johar finally announced his next directorial venture after 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', titled 'Takht' with a huge star-cast. The much-anticipated period drama will star Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. Earlier there were reports that, Ranveer's 'Gully Boy' co-star Alia Bhatt will be paired opposite him. But now, the latest reports suggest that Ranveer will be seen romancing 'Dhadak' actress Janhvi Kapoor in 'Takht' and not Alia Bhatt. Takht: Going to enter scariest territory as an actor in the film: Vicky Kaushal Speaking about the same, a source confirmed and told Bollywood Life that, "Alia Bhatt will be paired with Vicky Kaushal in Takht. The two have shared screen space before in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Raazi. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh will be romancing Janhvi Kapoor."
